Air Transport Publications Ltd (ATP) brings authoritative and independent coverage to the aviation market through its popular magazines,
directories and newsletter.
ATP was founded in 1996 with the Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering Directory. This soon became an indispensible business aid and was joined by the Air Cargo Directory, Airline Directory and Airport Directory.
From these specialist yearbooks grew four quarterly magazines and a monthly newsletter that analyse and report on the developments in their respective sectors. Airline Cargo Management, Low Cost & Regional Airline Business, Aircraft Cabin Management, MRO Management and MRO News Focus are written by established journalists and are respected sources of strategy for senior aviation professionals around the world.
In 2014, ATP added conferences to its portfolio. The Aircraft Cabin Maintenance Conference offers informative insight into the design aesthetics and maintenance requirements needed to create a world-class passenger experience. Air Transport Publications Ltd was bought by Samedan Ltd in November 2006; they have worked side-by-side as sister companies from the same office in London since January 2007.
The first FlyPharma Conference was launched in September 2015 at London Heathrow, bringing together Samedan and Air Transport Publications’ broad experience across the pharmaceutical and air transport industries. Three titles in particular complement each other well and provided the basis of the FlyPharma concept: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Packing Sourcer (PMPS), Pharmafocus and Airline Cargo Management (ALCM).
PMPS offers extensive pharmaceutical experience from a manufacturing, packaging and logistics perspective. Pharmafocus brings a pharma audience with a diverse range of backgrounds and provides a news-driven energy. ALCM considers everything cargo-related – forwarders, handlers, airports and carriers. Together, these publications support FlyPharma as media partners and provide a strong base for opening up communication between two sectors (pharma and cargo) that depend on each other for success.
In 2018, FlyPharma expanded to three regional events: Asia, Europe and US. Each conference was a success and was met with extremely positive feedback from the industry. FlyPharma Asia and Europe will take place again in 2019, and FlyPharma US will return in 2020. All events cover global pharma supply chain challenges and collaborative opportunities, but each focuses on how that particular region’s unique characteristics both impact and fit within a worldwide marketplace.
