To close the FlyPharma Conference Asia 2018, our esteemed chair, Rafik H. Bishara, PhD, will be leading a thought-provoking keynote panel entitled ‘Time for change’, which will bring together experts from the pharma and cargo sectors to summarize the topics and themes discussed over the course of the conference. They will answer questions such as: what have we learnt about ourselves and our business partners? What will we take away from the conference? How can we improve and work better together?

Panelists will include industry leaders such as:

Alex Xu, Associate Director – Global Logistics Asia at Eli Lilly & Company. Alex has an extensive background in the pharmaceutical industry, in positions such as Lilly China External Manufacturing Head, China Manufacturing Supply Chain Head and Parenteral Products Network Supply Chain Consultant. He is a member of Pharma Logistics Standardization Working Group of China National Logistics Standardization Technical Committee.

David Beecham is Senior Manager – Cargo Products, at Qatar Airways Cargo global responsibility for cargo products, global network product sales and operation delivery. David has been working in the logistics industry for over 40 years, holding senior positions in the retail and logistics sectors, setting up a consultancy business specializing in temperature-controlled logistics, and moving to Qatar Airways Cargo to develop the airline’s QR Pharma product in 2013.

Geert Leroy, Managing Director and founder of Eureachi Consulting, has worked within the logistics industry for more than 25 years, focusing on cold chain management. Geert offers experience in temperature-controlled warehousing and transportation by air, ocean and road to support healthcare-related companies, and is also an IATA CEIV Pharma independent validator.
